About us
MINEMODS is an independent website built by players to find and download Minecraft Java Edition mods for free, in an organized and safe way.
What we do
We organize mods, shaders, texture packs and data packs by Minecraft version and loader, so you only see what works in your game. Every page includes reviews, community-reported bugs, license, author and file hash.
How we review
No upload goes live without a human review. Hosted files are scanned with VirusTotal and published with their SHA-256 hash. When a mod's license does not allow redistribution, we link to the author's official page instead of hosting the file.
Who is behind it
MINEMODS is a project by MINEMODS COMPANY. We are responsible for this website, its content and its moderation. We are not Mojang or Microsoft and have no relationship with them.
