1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected on minemods.info is MINEMODS COMPANY, contact email contacto@minemods.info.
2. What data we process and why
Browsing without an account: we collect no personal data. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify visitors.
User account: email address, public name and, if you sign in with Google or Discord, the identifier those services provide. Purpose: managing your account, your reviews, your bug reports and your mod uploads.
Reviews, reports and uploads: the content you publish is shown next to your public name. We store the date and, to prevent abuse, the IP address it was published from.
Contact: the data you include in your email so we can reply.
Advertising: Google AdSense may use cookies and identifiers to show ads. They are only enabled if you give consent in the cookie banner.
3. Legal basis
Performance of the service you request (account, reviews, uploads), your consent (advertising cookies) and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and preventing abuse.
4. Recipients and processors
We use providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication, servers in the European Union), Cloudflare (hosting, delivery network, protection and analytics), transactional email providers for verification messages, and Google (advertising, only with your consent).
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards provided by the General Data Protection Regulation, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Retention
We keep your account data while the account is active. If you delete it, we erase your personal data within 30 days; reviews and reports may be kept in anonymized form.
Security logs are kept for a maximum of 12 months.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to contacto@minemods.info. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
7. Minors
You must be at least 14 years old to create a MINEMODS account. If we detect an account belonging to a younger user without authorization, we will delete it.
